Oretachitte Dō Yattetakke!? #1

Oretachitte Dō Yattetakke!? was a manga series serialized in the Japanese magazine Bessatsu Friend starting in the late 1990s. The series, written and illustrated by mangaka Anashin, belongs to the shōjo demographic, which generally targets a younger female audience with a focus on romantic developments and interpersonal relationships. The first issue serves as the foundational introduction to the series' tone, establishing the character dynamics and the specific comedic-romantic premise that defines its narrative arc.

The design and artistic direction of the series adhere to the clean, emotive aesthetic characteristic of late 90s shōjo manga. Anashin employed a style that emphasizes expressive character faces and clear panel layouts to facilitate the progression of the romantic plot. Upon its debut, the series was received within its niche as a lighthearted contribution to the magazine's rotation, reflecting the cultural trend of school-life romances that remained a staple of the publishing landscape at the time.
