Osananajimi no S-Kyū Party Kara Tsuihō Sareta Seijūtsukai. Bannō Shien Mahō to Nakama wo Fuyashite Saikyō e! #1

Osananajimi no S-Kyū Party Kara Tsuihō Sareta Seijūtsukai. Bannō Shien Mahō to Nakama wo Fuyashite Saikyō e! began as a light novel series written by Shizuku Kishima. It emerged from the popular Japanese web novel culture on Shōsetsuka ni Narō, following the common 'party expulsion' trope where the protagonist is dismissed by their companions only to realize their support skills are actually overpowered. The series was later adapted into a manga version illustrated by Yuuki Ayatsuki, which brought the light novel's narrative to a visual medium through the magazine Manga UP! published by Square Enix.

The character designs and visual tone, curated by Ayatsuki, aim to emphasize the protagonist's growth and the expanding cast of companions as they navigate a high-fantasy adventure. The series is received by audiences as a lighthearted example of the fantasy-adventure genre, focusing on the character's journey toward strength and independence after their initial setback. It remains a fixture within the competitive landscape of Japanese serialized fantasy manga, appealing to readers who enjoy themes of personal discovery and camaraderie in a traditional role-playing game setting.
