Quested #1

Quested #1 was published by Dark Horse Comics in 2005 as a four-issue limited series. Created by writer Brandon Jerwa and artist Brett Booth, the comic was developed during a period where Dark Horse was expanding its original fantasy and adventure properties. The narrative centers on a young man named Ewan who is caught in a high-fantasy world, designed to blend traditional quest-based archetypes with a slightly more modern, cynical perspective on heroic duty.

The art style is characteristic of Brett Booth's early-to-mid 2000s output, emphasizing dynamic action poses and sharp, fluid character designs. The series was met with modest interest, primarily attracting readers who favored the distinct aesthetic of the fantasy-adventure subgenre during that era. While it did not reach the commercial heights of more established franchise titles, it remains a notable example of the mid-2000s effort to cultivate independent creator-owned fantasy narratives within the direct market.
