Rent-A-Girlfriend #35

Rent-A-Girlfriend, or Kanojo, Okarishimasu, is a long-running romantic comedy manga series written and illustrated by Reiji Miyajima. Serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2017, the story follows Kazuya Kinoshita, a college student who begins renting girlfriends to cope with a breakup, eventually leading to complex emotional entanglements. Issue 35 represents a late-stage entry in this ongoing narrative, reflecting the series' established aesthetic characterized by highly detailed character designs and elaborate, expressive paneling.

Miyajima’s work is noted for its focus on character psychology and the specific trope-driven dynamics of the rental girlfriend service industry. While the series has drawn varied critical reactions regarding its pacing and character development, its visual presentation remains consistent with modern seinen and shonen genre standards. As a recent volume, it serves as a continuation of the overarching plot, maintaining the signature style and thematic explorations that have sustained the series' popularity within the Japanese manga market for several years.
