Shadows House #11

Shadows House volume 11 is part of the ongoing gothic mystery manga series written and illustrated by the artist duo known as So-ma-to. The series debuted in 2018 in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump, centering on the peculiar relationship between 'Shadows,' who mimic noble human aristocrats, and their 'living dolls' who serve as their faces. The visual style is marked by a distinct, moody aesthetic that blends Victorian-inspired sensibilities with psychological tension, reflecting the creators' focus on themes of identity and class.

By the time volume 11 was published, the series had established a dedicated international following, bolstered by a successful anime adaptation. The narrative continues the complex exploration of the Shadows House inhabitants and their internal power struggles. Critics and readers have consistently noted So-ma-to's ability to maintain a balance between unsettling, dark atmosphere and expressive character design, ensuring that each volume serves as a critical component in the unfolding mystery of the mansion's origins.
