Shin Elf-san wa Yaserarenai. #6

Shin Elf-san wa Yaserarenai., or Plus-Sized Elf: New Testament, is the sequel series to Synecdoche's original manga, Plus-Sized Elf. The narrative continues the lighthearted fantasy premise of an elf named Elfuda who struggles with the temptations of modern human junk food, resulting in her consistent weight gain. This sixth volume follows the established tone of the series, blending fantasy archetypes with gag comedy focused on diet culture and fitness.

The character designs and artwork are provided by Synecdoche, who maintains a distinct, detailed aesthetic that emphasizes the contrast between traditional fantasy tropes and the contemporary setting. The series is published under Wani Books' Comic Gum imprint, which has long served as a platform for niche manga titles. As a sequel, the volume was received by the established fan base as a continuation of the physical comedy and character-driven humor that defined the original run.
