Skill ga Nakereba Level wo Ageru: 99 ga Kansuto no Sekai de Level 800 Man Kara Sutato #9

Skill ga Nakereba Level wo Ageru: 99 ga Kansuto no Sekai de Level 800 Man Kara Sutato is a Japanese light novel series written by Otsu Hijiri and illustrated by Neigimaki. Emerging from the popular 'isekai' and game-based fantasy trends on Japanese web novel platforms, the series explores a premise where the protagonist operates within a world with a level cap of 99, only to begin his journey at level 8,000,000. The narrative focuses on the subversion of standard progression tropes, as the lead character navigates a society restricted by mechanical limitations while possessing overwhelming power.

The ninth volume continues the series' established aesthetic, featuring character designs and cover art by Neigimaki, whose work is known for vibrant, expressive portrayals consistent with current light novel industry standards. Published under the GC Novels imprint, the volume serves as a continuation of the ongoing serialization. It has been received as a typical entry in the power-fantasy subgenre, appealing to readers who enjoy high-concept progression stories and the lighthearted, often humorous tone that characterizes the series' approach to its massive numerical scales.
