Star Trek: Voyager #2

Star Trek: Voyager #2 was published by Marvel Comics in 1996 as part of their licensed expansion of the Star Trek television universe. Following the success of the Voyager series, which began its television run in 1995, Marvel sought to capture the show's premise of a stranded crew searching for a path home in the Delta Quadrant. This issue serves as an early installment in the ongoing comic series, designed to bridge the gaps between television episodes and provide deeper character studies for the show's ensemble cast.

The creative team behind the early issues of this run included writer Hilary Bader and artist Terry Pallot. Their approach focused on maintaining the established tone of the television series while utilizing the visual medium of comics to explore more exotic alien environments than television budgets of the era could easily permit. Upon release, the series was received as a standard extension of the franchise, appealing primarily to established viewers looking for additional narrative content set within the Voyager ship's unique environment.
