Storie Blu #6

Storie Blu was an influential Italian adult comic series published during the 1970s and 1980s, emerging from the vibrant and often provocative landscape of underground European erotic comics. These publications were designed to cater to a growing audience interested in narrative-driven adult themes, blending high-contrast artistic styles with transgressive storytelling that pushed the boundaries of the medium during a period of significant cultural shifts in Italy.

The series became a notable platform for various European illustrators who explored dark, surreal, and erotic imagery, often focusing on aesthetic composition and atmospheric tension. Issue number 6, like its counterparts in the collection, reflects the distinctive graphic design choices of the period, prioritizing bold black-and-white visuals and thematic ambiguity. While the specific creators for each individual issue were often part of a revolving collective of artists, the series is historically remembered for its contribution to the adult anthology format in the international underground press.
