Superman #320

Superman issue #320 was published by DC Comics in February 1978. It arrived during a transitional period for the character under the editorial guidance of Julius Schwartz, who oversaw the series as it navigated the late Bronze Age of comics. The issue features a script by Martin Pasko and artwork by Curt Swan, the definitive Superman artist of the era, whose clean, realistic lines helped anchor the character in a consistent visual style during the late 1970s.

The cover, illustrated by José Luis García-López, highlights the theatrical and episodic nature of these issues. At the time, DC was focused on maintaining the established lore of Metropolis while introducing modern pacing. This specific issue is known to collectors as part of the broader run where Superman faced more grounded, investigative challenges alongside classic science-fiction threats, reflecting the era's attempt to keep the iconic hero relevant against the backdrop of changing comic book storytelling standards.
