Tachiden: Tachikawa Denki Kōgyō (Kabushiki-Gaisha) Danshi Softball-Bu #1

This publication serves as a documentation of the Tachikawa Denki Kōgyō men's softball team, representing a distinct niche in Japanese corporate sports history. These types of team-focused periodicals were typically produced during the mid-20th century to bolster morale within large industrial manufacturing firms, acting as both an internal record of team performance and a vessel for corporate identity among employees.

The material reflects the design sensibilities of Japanese corporate ephemera from that era, often utilizing straightforward, utilitarian layouts focused on team rosters, match statistics, and celebratory photography. While these items were intended for a closed circle of stakeholders and personnel, they remain significant today as cultural artifacts that capture the intersection of post-war labor, community sports, and the growth of specific Japanese electrical engineering companies.
