Tales of Crestoria: Togabito no Zaika #1

Tales of Crestoria: Togabito no Zaika, serialized in manga format beginning in 2020, was conceived as a narrative companion to the mobile game Tales of Crestoria. The project was designed to broaden the franchise's exploration of morality and the consequences of sin, central themes that define the game's original universe. By adapting the game's core conflict into a visual medium, the production aimed to provide players and newcomers alike with a more focused perspective on the journeys of Kanata Hjuger and Misella.

The manga was illustrated by Abeno Chako, a creative choice intended to complement the aesthetic established by the game's character designers. Chako utilized a dynamic, expressive style to capture the intense emotional stakes of the story, focusing on the protagonists' struggle against a society that demands judgment. Upon its release, the series was received as a meaningful supplement to the game, appreciated for its character development and its ability to distill the game's expansive plot into a structured, episodic reading experience.
