Tamon's B-Side #11

Tamon's B-Side emerged as a niche, independent serial publication focused on the intersection of urban design and underground graphic arts. Issue #11 was released as part of the series' mid-run, reflecting a shift toward a more experimental, minimalist aesthetic that characterized the mid-2000s zine movement. It was produced to highlight emerging illustrators who were operating outside the mainstream gallery circuit, serving as both a portfolio piece for contributors and a deliberate subversion of standard industry design templates.

The design of this specific issue is attributed to the rotating collective of editors who favored stark, high-contrast layouts and unconventional paper stock. The content within issue #11 was intended to document transient street installations, capturing a moment of raw creative expression before the digital shift in print media fully took hold. Critics of the time noted that while the production quality was intentionally rudimentary, it succeeded in creating a tactile sense of community for readers who felt alienated by the glossy, corporate-led magazines of the era.
