Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken: Mabutsu no Kuni no Arukikata #8

Mabutsu no Kuni no Arukikata, known in English as 'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: The Ways of the Monster Nation', serves as a spin-off manga series based on the popular light novel franchise by Fuse. This specific volume, issue number eight, continues the narrative style established by the series, which functions as a travelogue and world-building companion to the main storyline. It focuses on the exploration of Tempest from the perspective of a newcomer, providing supplementary lore and character interactions that flesh out the daily life of the citizens within Rimuru’s nation.

The manga is illustrated by Sho Okagiri, who maintains the aesthetic continuity of the light novel's character designs while focusing on a more slice-of-life and comedic tone compared to the primary series. The series was created to capitalize on the immense growth of the franchise's world, offering fans a deeper dive into the geography and cultural development of the Jura Tempest Federation. Upon its release, it was well-received by the existing fan base for its ability to bridge narrative gaps and offer a lighthearted look at the monster nation's rapid urbanization.
