The Brave and the Bold #112

Published in 1974, The Brave and the Bold #112 is a notable entry in the long-running DC Comics anthology series. This issue is primarily remembered for its creative team, featuring writing by Bob Haney and interior art by Jim Aparo, an iconic duo who defined the tone of the series during the mid-1970s. The story brings together Batman and the Elongated Man, a frequent collaborator in this title, to solve a mystery involving international intrigue.

The cover art, also provided by Jim Aparo, showcases his signature clean lines and dramatic character framing that became synonymous with the series. At this point in DC's history, the 'team-up' format allowed for experimental pairings that contrasted Batman's grounded detective work with more obscure or quirky characters. The issue was received as a standard piece of 1970s superhero fiction, valued today by collectors primarily as a representative example of Aparo’s celebrated run on the Batman mythos.
