The Exorcism at Buckingham Palace #3

The Exorcism at Buckingham Palace was an occult-themed horror comic book series published in the early 1990s by Eternity Comics, an imprint of Malibu Comics. Released during a period when independent publishers were experimenting with provocative and sensationalist themes, the series leaned heavily into British Gothic aesthetics and urban legends. It emerged from the creative climate of the American independent boom, where publishers sought to differentiate themselves from the mainstream industry by exploring more mature, visceral, and controversial narratives.

The design and artistic direction for this series reflected the gritty, dark-fantasy visual style prevalent in the independent market at the time, prioritizing atmospheric tension and shock value. While the series was crafted to leverage tabloid-style intrigue surrounding the British royal family, it was primarily received as a niche curiosity among genre enthusiasts and collectors of the era's experimental horror comics. It represents a specific moment in comic history when publishers tested the boundaries of satire and supernatural storytelling within the sequential art format.
