Where it came from
Published by DC Comics in May 1960, The Flash #112 is a notable entry in the Silver Age of comics. It arrived during a period of creative expansion for the character, overseen by editor Julius Schwartz, who aimed to revitalize classic heroes with a focus on science fiction elements and tighter, more imaginative plotting.
The issue features cover art by Carmine Infantino and interior pencils by Infantino, with inks by Joe Giella. As one of the primary architects of the Silver Age Flash, Infantino employed his signature clean lines and kinetic visual style to convey the character's speed, setting a standard for comic book layouts that would influence the industry for decades.
