Tôgen Anki - La Légende du Sang Maudit #25

Tôgen Anki: La Légende du Sang Maudit is a contemporary dark fantasy shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Yura Urushibara. Serialized in Weekly Shōnen Champion since 2020, the series centers on Shiki Ichinose, a boy who discovers his heritage as a descendant of the Oni, placing him in a perpetual conflict against the Momotarō Agency. The narrative draws heavily on Japanese folklore, reimagining the traditional Momotarō legend through a gritty, supernatural lens that emphasizes the moral ambiguity of both the hunters and the hunted.

The twenty-fifth volume serves as a continuation of Urushibara's dynamic action style, characterized by high-contrast ink work and fluid, kinetic battle sequences. As a mid-to-late series entry, this volume maintains the aesthetic established in earlier chapters, focusing on the evolution of Shiki's powers and the shifting alliances within the Oni community. Like the rest of the series, the volume was produced to satisfy a dedicated readership interested in subversions of classic folktales, receiving attention for its brutal combat choreography and the distinct, edgy character designs that define the franchise's visual identity.
