Ton Visage au Clair de Lune #4

Ton Visage au Clair de Lune is a French-language manga-style comic series produced during the early 2000s, reflecting the era's growing interest in integrating Japanese aesthetic sensibilities into the Western independent comics market. The fourth installment follows the established narrative arc of the series, which utilizes melancholic, atmospheric imagery to explore themes of identity and longing, often relying on the stark contrast of monochromatic ink work to evoke its titular moonlit tone.

The series is noted for its delicate, high-contrast illustration style, which prioritizes mood and character expression over complex background rendering. It was conceived as a limited-run project, designed to appeal to readers of emotive, avant-garde comics. Upon its release, it gained a modest but dedicated following among enthusiasts of the European alternative scene for its unique synthesis of traditional manga character proportions and French artistic minimalism.
