Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister #19

Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister, known in Japan as Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi, is a romantic comedy manga series created by Marcey Naito. The series originated as a one-shot published in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2020 before beginning its formal serialization in 2021. The narrative follows Uryu Kamihate, a young man who aspires to study medicine, as he moves into a Shinto shrine and finds his life intertwined with the three granddaughters of the head priest.

The series is celebrated for its blend of traditional shrine aesthetics and contemporary rom-com tropes, with character designs reflecting Naito's background as an assistant to artist Negi Haruba, creator of The Quintessential Quintuplets. Issue 19 marks a point in the ongoing serialization where the narrative developments of the sisters' relationships with the protagonist have deepened, continuing the series' consistent visual style characterized by expressive character work and intricate background illustrations of Japanese shrine architecture.
