Uchi no Neko ga Mata Hen na Koto Shiteru. #8

Uchi no Neko ga Mata Hen na Koto Shiteru., or My Cat Is Acting Weird Again, is a popular Japanese manga series created by the artist known as Kukku. Originally gaining traction through the author's social media presence, the series chronicles the idiosyncratic and humorous behaviors of house cats through a lighthearted, observational lens. The eighth volume continues the established format of short, episodic vignettes that celebrate the daily peculiarities of pet ownership, maintaining the series' reputation for relatable, wholesome content that appeals to cat lovers across various demographics.

The aesthetic of the series is defined by a soft, expressive art style that emphasizes the physical comedy of the feline subjects. Kukku’s design approach focuses on capturing the subtle, often ridiculous postures and expressions that make the cats' behavior appear inexplicably strange to their human owners. Upon its release, the volume was well-received within the slice-of-life manga genre for its ability to distill the charm of pet companionship into accessible, charming illustrations that resonate with the widespread cultural fondness for cat-themed media in Japan.
