Usagi wa Kaku Katariki #3

Usagi wa Kaku Katariki is a manga series created by artist and author Kenjiro Hata, debuting in the late 2010s as a follow-up to his previous long-running works. The series was produced within the context of Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday, aimed at delivering a blend of supernatural mystery, slice-of-life comedy, and Hata’s signature self-referential humor. This particular volume continues the narrative threads concerning the mysterious protagonist and the peculiar, otherworldly circumstances that define her daily life.

The design of the series reflects Hata’s clean, expressive line work and his penchant for dense, dialogue-heavy layouts. Upon its release, the volume was received as a continuation of Hata’s established style, balancing absurdist gags with a grounded emotional core. Critics and readers noted the series for its intricate world-building, which leans into occult themes while maintaining the lighthearted tone characteristic of the author's broader bibliography.
