Voyeur #1

Voyeur #1 was published in 1993 by Tundra Publishing as part of a short-lived but artistically ambitious anthology series. Created during the height of the independent comics boom of the early nineties, the title was designed to explore themes of surveillance, human observation, and urban isolation, positioning itself as a more mature, contemplative alternative to the mainstream superhero narratives dominating the market at the time.

The series is noted for its experimental visual approach, which often prioritized moody, atmospheric noir aesthetics over traditional sequential storytelling. While it gained a modest cult following among aficionados of underground and alternative comics for its dark, intellectual tone, it struggled to achieve widespread commercial success, ultimately remaining a niche curiosity that reflects the creative experimentation characteristic of the Tundra Publishing imprint.
