Walt Disney's Zorro #2

Walt Disney's Zorro #2 was published in 1958 by Dell Comics during the height of the popularity of the Disney live-action television series starring Guy Williams. The comic served as a tie-in to the show, capitalizing on the mid-century fascination with the masked crusader, and was produced under the Four Color series branding common to Dell's output at the time.

The illustrations for this series frequently leaned on the likenesses of the actors from the television production to maintain brand continuity. While Dell Comics rarely credited individual artists and writers by name on the covers or interior pages during this period, the art was executed in a clean, traditional style intended to appeal to the younger demographic watching the broadcasts, ensuring the comic felt like an authentic extension of the televised adventures.
