Wonder Woman #132

Wonder Woman issue 132 was published in August 1962 during the Silver Age of comic books. At this stage in the character's publication history, the series was heavily influenced by the science-fiction trends of the era, moving away from mythological roots toward space exploration and futuristic themes. This issue notably features the work of artist Ross Andru and writer Robert Kanigher, a creative pairing that defined the visual and narrative direction of the series for many years during the mid-twentieth century.

The editorial vision of this period aimed to keep the character relevant for a younger audience by integrating contemporary genre tropes. As part of a long-running series, the issue reflects the industry standard of the time, utilizing a standard newsprint format and episodic storytelling. It remains a notable entry for collectors focusing on the Silver Age, documenting the evolution of Wonder Woman as the DC Comics universe began to broaden its scope toward more experimental, genre-bending narratives.
