Xiǎng Kàn Nǐ Lùchū Xiūchǐ de Múyàng #10

Xiǎng Kàn Nǐ Lùchū Xiūchǐ de Múyàng, known internationally as 'I Want to See You Make a Disgusted Face and Show Me Your Underwear', began as an ongoing manga series by 40hara. The series originated as a collection of illustrations depicting various young women expressing disdain while revealing their undergarments, a concept that gained significant traction online before being serialized in manga format. Issue #10 represents a chapter in the continued exploration of this specific niche aesthetic, maintaining the artist's focus on character expressions and thematic visual gags.

The design of the series leans heavily into the 'gap moe' trope, where the juxtaposition of an unappealing or harsh facial expression with an intimate physical reveal serves as the primary hook for the audience. 40hara’s art style is characterized by clean lines and an emphasis on character personality, which has helped the series transition successfully from viral social media posts to a published print format. The reception has been consistent among its target demographic, finding a dedicated readership that appreciates the stylistic consistency and the specific subgenre of character-focused comedy.
