Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon #10

Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon #10 serves as a chapter installment in the manga adaptation of the anime sequel to Rumiko Takahashi’s classic series, Inuyasha. Launched in 2021, the manga was illustrated by Takashi Shiina and serialized in Shonen Sunday S. The adaptation sought to translate the high-fantasy narrative of Sesshomaru’s daughters, Towa and Setsuna, into the aesthetic language of traditional manga, maintaining the tone and character archetypes established by Takahashi’s original world-building.

The creative direction for this series leaned heavily on Shiina’s established mastery of shonen action, aiming to provide a bridge for long-term fans while introducing a new generation of half-demon protagonists. Issue #10 continues the progression of the series' overarching plot, focusing on the development of the main characters' abilities and the complex web of their familial heritage. Reception of the manga adaptation has been generally positive among the franchise's fanbase, particularly for its ability to mirror the visual spirit of the preceding series.
