Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki #13

Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki, created by Masaki Ando, began serialization in 2016 as a humorous manga dedicated to highlighting the unique cultural and linguistic quirks of Nagoya. The series emerged from a desire to celebrate regional pride in Japan's Aichi Prefecture, often contrasting Nagoya's distinct habits with those of other major cities like Tokyo and Osaka. The title character, Monaka Yatogame, serves as a spirited ambassador for her hometown, characterized by her heavy Nagoya dialect and strong local loyalty.

The thirteenth volume continues the series' signature format of observational comedy, focusing on the interactions between local students. Ando’s art style, noted for its expressive character designs and clear comedic timing, has been well-received by fans of regional-focused media. As part of a series that successfully spawned multiple anime seasons and became an informal tourism ambassador for the region, this volume remains a staple for those interested in Japanese local subcultures and the ongoing narrative of the Yatogame circle of friends.
