Young Ace #243

Young Ace is a prominent monthly seinen manga magazine published by Kadokawa Shoten, first launched in 2009 to serve as a platform for series with darker, more complex, or mature themes. Issue 243 fits within the magazine's long-standing tradition of serializing titles that bridge the gap between traditional shonen action and more sophisticated narrative arcs, acting as a crucial touchpoint for fans of contemporary seinen literature.

The design and visual direction of Young Ace have consistently leaned into high-contrast cover art, often featuring lead protagonists from its current flagship series. The publication is celebrated for its commitment to high-quality print production and its role in launching various multimedia franchises. Historically, the magazine is perhaps best known for being the home of the Neon Genesis Evangelion manga adaptation, which established the visual identity and editorial rigor that defines the series' ongoing issues.
