Young Champion #1301

Young Champion is a prominent seinen manga magazine published by Akita Shoten, which has been a staple of the Japanese comics industry since the late 1960s. The magazine targets a young adult male demographic, curating a mix of action, comedy, and gravure idol photography. Issue 1301 represents a specific point in the long-running publication history of this anthology, reflecting the magazine's established editorial focus on balancing serialized storytelling with industry-standard promotional photography.

The design and content of Young Champion issues are overseen by a rotating editorial staff at Akita Shoten, following a consistent visual language that prioritizes high-impact cover art often featuring popular models or stars from the current entertainment circuit. By the time of issue 1301, the magazine had solidified its identity as a major venue for established mangaka to reach a dedicated, mature readership, maintaining a legacy of visual branding that prioritizes accessible, character-driven covers to compete on the crowded shelves of Japanese convenience stores.
