Young Gangan #711

Young Gangan is a semi-monthly seinen manga magazine published by Square Enix, first launched in 2004 to provide a platform for darker, more mature storytelling that contrasted with the publisher's other periodicals. Issue 711 belongs to the magazine's long-running sequence, serving as a reflection of the evolving landscape of contemporary Japanese manga and the magazine's commitment to featuring high-profile illustrators and emerging narrative voices.

The design and editorial direction of Young Gangan are characterized by a focus on aesthetic versatility, often pairing high-quality cover photography or illustrations with diverse genre pieces ranging from thrillers to romantic comedies. While individual issues like 711 are produced as standard mass-market periodicals, they remain significant as temporal snapshots of the medium's trends, representing the collaborative efforts of editors and artists tasked with maintaining the publication's consistent appeal to its established adult readership.
