Yūsha ni Haiboku Shita Maō-sama wa Kaerizaku Tame ni Mamono Guild wo Tsukuru Koto ni Shimashita. #12

Yūsha ni Haiboku Shita Maō-sama wa Kaerizaku Tame ni Mamono Guild wo Tsukuru Koto ni Shimashita, translated as The Demon Lord Who Lost to the Hero Decides to Build a Monster Guild to Make a Comeback, is a light novel series written by Toumori Miyama and illustrated by Subachi. The series debuted in 2018 under the GA Bunko label, emerging within a crowded market of fantasy titles that subvert standard hero-versus-demon lord tropes by focusing on administrative and guild-building mechanics after the initial conflict has concluded.

The twelfth volume serves as a continuation of the protagonists' efforts to revitalize their influence through unconventional means, maintaining the established comedic and lighthearted tone of the series. The narrative is heavily driven by the character designs of Subachi, whose artwork has been central to the series' visual identity since its inception. As a staple of the contemporary light novel scene, the volume reflects the long-form serialization model common in Japanese publishing, where character growth and world-building are incrementally developed over numerous installments.
