Where it came from
The Diamond token (FAB165) was released as a promotional item for Flesh and Blood, the trading card game designed by James White and published by Legend Story Studios. Introduced to the public through organized play events, this token was created to function as a visual aid for specific gameplay mechanics within the game’s complex combat system, allowing players to represent temporary status effects or resource shifts on the battlefield.
The aesthetic of the card adheres to the high-fantasy visual identity established by the game's art director. By utilizing clean, functional iconography, the design prioritizes readability during fast-paced tournament play. While tokens are often utilitarian in nature, this promo version was distributed as a reward for participant engagement, reflecting the developer's commitment to supporting the local game store community and the competitive TCG circuit.
