Where it came from
Even Bigger Than That! is an instant-speed card released as a promotional item for Flesh and Blood, a trading card game designed by James White and published by Legend Story Studios. First appearing in 2021, the card was issued as part of a series of promotional materials aimed at supporting local game stores and event participants. Its inclusion in the promo set reflects the game's focus on high-impact, strategic combat, with its mechanics specifically designed to heighten the tension of the game's central 'go again' and damage-scaling systems.
The card's design features the distinct, high-fantasy aesthetic common to the Flesh and Blood series, characterized by detailed illustrative work that emphasizes dynamic action. Like many promotional cards in this ecosystem, Even Bigger Than That! was created to serve as a collector's piece that also functions within the competitive meta, offering players a way to represent their participation in organized play. Its reception among the player base has been consistent with other core promos, valued both for its gameplay utility and its limited distribution status within the game's expansive catalog.
