Herald of Protection

Herald of Protection was released as part of the Prism Blitz Deck for the Flesh and Blood trading card game. Developed by Legend Story Studios and first launched in 2019, the game was designed by James White to evoke the tactile, community-focused experience of classic card games while utilizing a unique combat system that rewards aggressive play and resource management. The Prism Blitz Deck served as a pre-constructed entry point, designed to introduce players to the Light talent and the mechanics associated with the Illusionist class.

The art and design of the Herald series reflect the ethereal, high-fantasy aesthetic established for the Light-aligned characters in the game. These cards were created to provide defensive utility and board presence for the Illusionist, often featuring light-infused iconography that contrasts with the darker, more industrial visual themes found elsewhere in the game.
