Meat and Greet

Meat and Greet was released as part of the History Pack 1 set for the Flesh and Blood trading card game, which debuted in 2022. This set was designed by Legend Story Studios as a curated collection of reprints from the game's earliest expansions, intended to provide newer players with accessible entry points into the game's established mechanical ecosystem. By consolidating essential gameplay cards from the Welcome to Rathe, Arcane Rising, and Crucible of War sets, the developers sought to stabilize the secondary market and maintain the game's competitive integrity.

The card features an illustration by the Legend Story Studios creative team, consistent with the gritty, high-fantasy aesthetic established for the game's primary setting, Rathe. As an action card, its design reflects the tactical emphasis of the Brute class, focusing on aggressive board presence and resource management. Upon its release, it was received as a functional, low-rarity staple that serves as a fundamental piece of the Brute’s toolkit, valued more for its practical utility in deck building than for aesthetic rarity.
