Regain Composure

Regain Composure is a rare action card from the High Seas set of the proprietary trading card game. Released as part of an expansion centered on maritime themes and nautical mechanics, the card was designed to offer players a strategic defensive mechanism, allowing them to stabilize their board state after a disruptive turn. The artwork and mechanical direction were intended to evoke a sense of calculated recovery, fitting the high-stakes risk-reward balance established by the expansion's core gameplay loop.

The card was illustrated by the in-house creative team tasked with maintaining visual consistency across the High Seas expansion. The design philosophy focused on high-contrast, atmospheric imagery that reflected the turbulent setting of the series. Upon its release, the card was generally well-received by the competitive community for its utility in mid-to-late game scenarios, becoming a staple inclusion for players looking to mitigate the effects of aggressive opponent strategies.
