Where it came from
The Shiver weapon card, identified as LGS067, was released as part of a series of promotional cards distributed exclusively through local game stores. These initiatives were designed to incentivize community engagement and support brick-and-mortar hobby shops by rewarding players who participated in organized store events. As a promo rarity, it was intended to serve as a collectible incentive rather than a standard deck-building component.
The visual identity of this card follows the aesthetic conventions established for the wider promotional set, which often emphasizes distinct, moody illustrations intended to differentiate these items from the core card game release. While the specific artist is part of the broader promotional roster, the design philosophy behind these cards focuses on high-contrast iconography and concise utility, ensuring that the weapon's mechanics are easily recognizable to players during competitive play.
