Where it came from
The Sigil of Fate (FAB402) is a promotional token card released for Flesh and Blood, the trading card game designed by James White and published by Legend Story Studios. Introduced to support the game's organized play circuit, the card serves as a functional game piece intended to represent specific status effects or resources during gameplay. Its design reflects the stark, high-fantasy aesthetic characteristic of the game's early sets, emphasizing a minimalist approach to token utility while maintaining a consistent visual language with the core card pool.
As an official promotional release, this token was distributed through local game store events and tournament support kits rather than standard booster packs. The decision to produce standalone promotional tokens was driven by the studio's desire to provide players with premium, branded artifacts that distinguish high-level play from common table-top setups. The card was well-received by the community for its clean, readable layout and high-quality card stock, which mirrored the premium feel of the game's rare playable assets.
