Test of Strength

Test of Strength was released as a foundational common card within the Victor Goldmane Blitz Deck for the Flesh and Blood trading card game. Designed by Legend Story Studios, the card reflects the game's focus on tactical resource management and physical combat, serving as an essential tool for players looking to control the flow of a match by manipulating life totals or defensive capabilities. It emerged during the expansion of the game’s core mechanics, intended to offer accessible strategic depth for new players transitioning into the Blitz format.

The visual design of the card, consistent with the aesthetic of the Victor Goldmane set, emphasizes the theme of noble discipline and martial prowess. Like many common-tier cards in the Flesh and Blood ecosystem, the illustration seeks to balance narrative flavor with functional clarity, ensuring that the card remains legible during rapid, high-stakes gameplay. Upon release, it was well-received by the player base for its utility in defensive maneuvering, solidifying its place as a staple inclusion within the Goldmane character archetype.
