Trap and Release

Trap and Release was released in 1999 as part of The Hunted expansion for the Overpower Customizable Card Game. Developed by Fleer/SkyBox, The Hunted set was designed to expand the tactical variety of the game by focusing on characters and strategies tied to Marvel's dark, gritty anti-hero storylines of the late nineties. As a common-rarity action card, it was intended to serve as a foundational utility piece, allowing players to manipulate the battlefield by removing and then re-introducing threats during a match.
