Where it came from
This figurine was released as part of the Funko Pop! Disney line to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Looney Tunes franchise. While the Looney Tunes are historically Warner Bros. characters, the inclusion of this item under the broader Pop! Disney distribution umbrella reflects the cross-licensing arrangements common in modern pop culture merchandising. It represents the iconic Bugs Bunny, a character created by a team of animators at Leon Schlesinger Productions, later Warner Bros. Cartoons, in the late 1930s.
The design follows the standard Funko Pop! aesthetic, characterized by a stylized oversized head, simplified facial features, and a small, squat body. Created to appeal to nostalgic adult collectors and modern fans alike, the figure captures the character's classic pose. Upon release, it was met with consistent interest from collectors of the animation genre, fitting into the long-standing tradition of translating classic hand-drawn character designs into accessible vinyl collectibles.
