Where it came from
The Mr. March Funko Pop, numbered 323, was released as part of the American Horror Story: Hotel collection. It depicts James Patrick March, the nefarious founder of the Hotel Cortez, played by Evan Peters in the series. The figure captures his iconic 1920s aesthetic, complete with a pinstripe suit and a waxed mustache, reflecting the show's dark, period-specific visual style.
Funko’s design team aimed to translate the macabre elegance of Ryan Murphy’s anthology series into their signature stylized vinyl form. The Mr. March prototype, like many early production samples, served as a proof of concept for the final retail figure to ensure the paint applications and sculpting details—such as his slicked hair—aligned with the character’s onscreen appearance before mass production began.
