Powdered Donettes (Diamond Glitter)

The Funko Pop! Ad Icons series was launched to celebrate the cultural legacy of iconic brand mascots and snack foods that have become embedded in American pop culture. The Powdered Donettes figure, numbered 81, was released as part of this line to honor the long-standing popularity of the Hostess brand. The design features the recognizable, sugar-coated texture of the snack, captured in the classic, stylized aesthetic that defines the Pop! vinyl toy collection.

The figure was conceptualized as a tribute to the nostalgic appeal of Hostess, a company that has been a staple in grocery aisles for decades. By rendering the Donettes as a tangible, collectible character, Funko aimed to tap into the consumer familiarity with the snack's distinct look and packaging. Upon its release, the figure was well-received by collectors of the Ad Icons series, who frequently seek out representations of food brands to complete their displays of mid-century corporate and culinary iconography.
