Where it came from
Released in 2024 as part of the LEGO BrickHeadz line, this set features two of the most recognizable characters from the Fortnite video game franchise. The set was developed through a licensing partnership between the LEGO Group and Epic Games, intended to translate the digital aesthetics of the game into the stylized, block-based proportions characteristic of the BrickHeadz series.
The figures depict Peely, the sentient banana character, and Cuddle Team Leader, the pink bear mascot. The design utilizes a mix of classic building techniques and specialized elements to replicate the distinct color schemes and playful expressions of the original in-game skins. Upon release, the set was targeted at both long-term LEGO collectors and the expansive Fortnite player base, receiving attention for its faithful adaptation of iconic character designs.
