Where it came from
The Adventurer with Drowned and Axolotl set, identified as number 662303-1, was released as a promotional polybag set within the broader Lego Minecraft theme. It was designed to capture the aquatic update era of the game, bringing specific underwater mobs like the Drowned and the colorful axolotl into the physical building format that has defined the collaboration between Lego and Mojang Studios since 2012.
The design of these micro-scale figures reflects the blocky, pixelated aesthetic of Minecraft, translated into specialized plastic elements. The set was created to offer accessible, low-cost entry points for younger builders and fans of the game's creature roster. It was received as a functional, compact addition to the growing ecosystem of Minecraft-themed construction sets, emphasizing character-driven play rather than large-scale landscape building.
