Where it came from
Released in 2020 as part of the LEGO Friends theme, Andrea's Car & Stage (41390-1) was designed to expand the narrative of Heartlake City by focusing on the character Andrea, an aspiring singer. The set was created to provide children with a play experience that combined the role-playing aspect of a vehicle with a portable performance space, reflecting the theme's emphasis on creative hobbies and friendship-driven activities.
The set features a vibrant, pastel-toned convertible vehicle alongside a small pop-up stage, a common design aesthetic within the Friends line that favors modular play. It was received as a standard entry in the series, appreciated for its inclusion of unique accessories such as a microphone and a toy rabbit figure, which helped build out the broader collection of Heartlake City sets released during that period.
