Anna and Elsa's Frozen Playground

Released in 2017 as part of the LEGO Juniors line, this set was designed to bridge the gap between Duplo and standard system bricks for younger builders. The set captures a whimsical moment from the Frozen franchise, featuring Anna and Elsa in a courtyard setting that includes a slide, a snow catapult, and an ice bench. By simplifying the assembly process, the design allowed children aged four to seven to recreate scenes from the films with age-appropriate complexity.

The set was illustrated and engineered with a focus on ease of construction, utilizing larger, pre-molded pieces to create the structure of the playground. This approach was central to the Juniors theme philosophy of providing an accessible building experience that fostered confidence in early learners. Upon its release, it was well received by parents and fans of the Frozen series for its playability and its accurate representation of the characters in minifigure form, serving as a functional entry point into the broader LEGO Disney collection.
