Where it came from
Blocks magazine issue 105 was published in June 2023 as part of the independent monthly publication dedicated to the LEGO hobby. Produced by a team of enthusiasts and former industry professionals, the magazine serves as an unofficial guide for adult collectors, featuring detailed build reviews, interviews with LEGO designers, and explorations of fan-created models. This specific issue was timed to coincide with the mid-year wave of new product releases, maintaining the publication's consistent focus on technical analysis and community engagement.
The editorial direction for this issue adheres to the magazine's long-standing design language, which emphasizes high-quality photography and clean, informative layouts intended to appeal to the adult fan of LEGO (AFOL) demographic. The content team aims to provide a balance between professional journalistic standards and the accessible, celebratory tone inherent to the hobby. Like its predecessors, issue 105 was received by the enthusiast community as a reliable reference point for navigating the sprawling catalog of modern plastic building sets.
