Where it came from
Blocks magazine issue 135 was released in early 2024 as part of a long-running independent publication series dedicated to the hobby of building with interlocking plastic bricks. Created by fans for fans, the magazine was established to provide an alternative perspective to official corporate promotional materials, focusing on independent reviews, intricate building techniques, and features on prominent figures within the creative building community.
The editorial direction for this specific issue continues the magazine's commitment to high-quality photography and in-depth analysis of current sets and community MOCs (My Own Creations). Designed by the editorial team at Blocks, the aesthetic prioritizes clean, modern layouts and vivid visual storytelling, aiming to capture the imagination of adult fans of the hobby who seek both technical insight and a sense of connection to the broader building culture.
